Islamic vs conventional

Different contracts - same need for credit fit.

Islamic and conventional packages can both fund a home. Choose with eyes on structure, effective cost and bank appetite.

What differs

Conventional loans are interest-bearing debt. Islamic home financing uses Shariah-contract structures (commonly discussed examples include Musharakah Mutanaqisah / equity-participation style and murabahah-based sale arrangements). Monthly obligations can look similar; legal form and early settlement mechanics may differ.

RMS2U describes products carefully. We do not issue religious rulings - each bank’s Shariah committee owns that determination.

Cost comparison

Do not assume Islamic is always cheaper or always more expensive. Compare effective instalment, fees, lock-in and flexibility for your horizon.
